In my first scenario, I took the top 16 teams, regardless if they won their conference or not, from the final BCS standings and created a playoff bracket.  The teams are seeded according to the BCS ranking.

First round:

(1) Ohio St plays (16) Rutgers
(2) Florida plays (15) Virginia Tech
(3) Michigan plays (14) Wake Forest
(4) LSU plays (13) West Virginia
(5) USC plays (12) Arkansas
(6) Louisville plays (11) Notre Dame
(7) Wisconsin plays (10) Oklahoma
(8) Boise St plays (9) Auburn

Second Round:

(1) Ohio St plays (8) Boise St
(2) Florida plays (7) Wisconsin
(3) Michigan plays (6) Louisville
(4) LSU plays (5) USC

Third Round:

(1) Ohio St plays (4) LSU
(2) Florida plays (3) Michigan

Fourth Round (Championship Game)

(1) Ohio St plays (2) Florida – Ohio St wins National Championship

In my second scenario, I have taken each conference winner and their runner's up and seeded them according to their BCS ranking - for simplification, i didn't calculate BCS numbers for the teams out of the top 25 of the BCS poll.

I realize that I left Notre Dame (or the Independent with the best record) and Ohio (Mid-Am runner up) out of this scenario - I haven't completely figure this out - if you have suggestions, feel free to email me.
